Many studies have shown the benefits of cardio respiratory training especially for helping reduce the risk of heart disease. Cardio training also reduces your resting heart rate, normalizes resting blood pressure, and improves your ability to perform daily actives. These benefits lead to overall improvement in both oxygen delivery and oxygen extraction. The result is an increase in aerobic capacity.
