Cardio Respiratory Exercise
All of my specialized strength /resistance training workouts incorporate the cardio respiratory system. By using your cardio you stand to gain so many vital benefits. Many studies have shown the benefits of cardio respiratory training especially for helping reduce the risk of heart disease. Cardio training also reduces your resting heart rate, normalizes resting blood pressure, and improves your ability to perform daily actives. These benefits lead to overall improvement in both oxygen delivery and oxygen extraction. The result is an increase in aerobic capacity. Cardio respiratory training is recommended 4 to 7 days per week 1 hour a day by the Physical Activity guide to Healthy Active Living.
